Cove Fire and Rescue's Volunteer Firefighter Appreciation Day and Fundraiser
Mark you calendars, Cove Fire and Rescue is planning on holding a Volunteer Firefighter Appreciation Day and Fundraiser on Saturday April 20th at the Cove Community Building. EVERYONE is encouraged to stop by and enjoy festivities. More details to come.
UPDATE: We will be having lots of fun for the kids, with Big Awesome Slides sponsoring several moonwalks for the kids to play on. We will have a tug-o-war, and a hit-a-car. We will have a DJ for music during the event. We will be serving Hamburgers, Hot-Dogs, and Crawfish (Calhoun's Crawfish will be cooking our crawfish). All children (10 and youger) will eat free at this event. Everybody else will be for donation. Cove VFD will also do a Jaws-of-Life demostration, as well as have the Fire Trucks out for everyone to see.
We are still looking for event sponsors, so if you or anybody is interested in being a sponsor please contact us for a sponorship form.

Cove Fire and Rescue's Christmas in Cove
2012 Christmas in Cove was held Thursday, December 20 thru Saturday, December 22, 2012. We drove through all of the neighborhoods in our district with all the Fire Trucks with a visit from Santa himself.
This event was a huge success. We forward to doing this again in 2013.
